Preparation

1.Preheat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).

2.In a bowl, combine the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

3.Dredge the shrimp and oysters in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

4.Fry the shrimp and oysters in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.

5.In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickles, parsley, and lemon juice to make the remoulade sauce.

6.Slice the French bread roll in half lengthwise and spread the remoulade sauce on both sides.

7.Layer the lettuce leaves, fried shrimp, and fried oysters on the bottom half of the bread.

8.Top with sliced tomatoes and cover with the other half of the bread.
