Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch (23cm) square baking pan.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.

    In a separate large bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, brown sugar, molasses, honey, and eggs until well combined.

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the brewed coffee, cocoa powder, and milk. Mix until just combined.
