Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Shrimp — Make sure to devein the shrimp before using them in the recipe to remove the digestive tract. You can also marinate the shrimp in lemon juice and garlic for added flavor.
  • Calamari — If using fresh calamari, make sure to clean it thoroughly by removing the innards and skin. If using frozen calamari rings, thaw them before adding them to the pizza.
  • Mussels — If using fresh mussels, cook them in boiling water until they open. Discard any mussels that do not open. Remove the cooked mussels from their shells before adding them to the pizza.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a burst of freshness, squeeze some lemon juice over the pizza before serving.
  • Experiment with different seafood combinations, such as adding scallops or clams.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, increase the amount of chili flakes or add some sliced jalapeños.
  • To make the pizza even more aromatic, sprinkle some fresh chopped parsley or thyme on top before baking.
  • If you're short on time, you can use store-bought pizza dough or a pre-made crust.

Serving advice

Serve the Seafood Pizza hot, straight from the oven. Cut it into slices and serve as a main course or as part of a pizza party. Pair it with a fresh green salad to balance the flavors.

Presentation advice

To enhance the presentation, garnish the pizza with fresh basil leaves just before serving. The vibrant green color will add a pop of freshness and make the dish visually appealing.
