Treat your ingredients with care...
- Quince paste — To make slicing easier, slightly warm the quince paste before cutting it into thin slices.
- Dulce de leche — If you don't have store-bought dulce de leche, you can make your own by simmering a can of sweetened condensed milk for several hours until it thickens and caramelizes.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra touch of flavor, sprinkle some crushed toasted almonds on top of the tart before serving.
- If you prefer a sweeter tart, you can drizzle some additional dulce de leche on top.
- Serve the tart chilled for a refreshing dessert experience.
- Experiment with different types of cheese, such as ricotta or mascarpone, for a unique twist on the recipe.
- If you can't find quince paste, you can substitute it with apricot or fig jam.
