Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef stew meat — For the most tender results, choose a cut of beef that is suitable for slow cooking, such as chuck or round roast. Trim any excess fat before cubing.
- Egg noodles — If you prefer a lighter texture, you can use fresh egg noodles instead of dried ones. Cook them according to the package instructions, as their cooking time may vary.
Tips & Tricks
- To enhance the flavor of the dish, you can add a splash of red wine to the beef broth while simmering.
- For a spicier kick, sprinkle some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper into the broth.
- If you prefer a thicker broth, you can mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with a little water and add it to the pot during the last few minutes of cooking.
