1.In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until fragrant and translucent.

2.Add the Arborio rice to the saucepan and stir well to coat the grains with the garlic and onion mixture.

3.Pour in the white wine and cook until it is absorbed by the rice.

4.Gradually add the vegetable broth, one ladleful at a time, stirring constantly until the liquid is absorbed before adding more. Continue this process until the rice is cooked al dente, tender yet firm to the bite.

5.Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and the flavors to meld together.

6.Remove from heat and let the risotto rest for a few minutes before serving.
