Ingredients
In this Tuscan adaptation of the Scottish Deep-Fried Pizza, we incorporate Tuscan flavors and ingredients to create a distinct culinary experience. The original Scottish version is typically made with a thick pizza dough, deep-fried until crispy, and topped with classic pizza ingredients. In the Tuscan-style version, we use a thinner pizza crust, inspired by Tuscan flatbread, and top it with fresh Tuscan ingredients like tomatoes, herbs, and olive oil, giving it a unique Tuscan twist. We alse have the original recipe for Scottish Deep-Fried Pizza, so you can check it out.
