Ingredients

1.In a large bowl, combine the smoked ham, bread crumbs, all-purpose flour, semolina, milk, onion, garlic, mustard seeds, curry leaves, tamarind paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly combined.

2.Shape the mixture into small dumplings, about the size of a golf ball.

3.In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Gently drop the dumplings into the boiling broth and reduce the heat to a simmer.

4.Cook the dumplings for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and tender.
