The original recipe often includes meat or seafood, but we have omitted those ingredients to create a delicious vegetarian version. 1.In a large bowl, combine the corn kernels, all-purpose flour, cornmeal, plant-based milk, flaxseed mixture, cilantro, baking powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

3.Drop spoonfuls of the corn mixture into the hot oil, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
