Ingredients
In this Tibetan-inspired adaptation of Zserbó, we incorporate traditional Tibetan spices such as cardamom and cinnamon to infuse the dessert with a distinct Himalayan flavor. Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a rectangular baking dish with parchment paper.

2.In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened yak butter, sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, and salt until light and fluffy.

3.Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.

4.Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll out one portion into a rectangle that fits the baking dish and press it into the bottom.

5.Spread the Tibetan apricot jam evenly over the dough.

6.Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the jam layer.

7.Roll out the second portion of dough into a rectangle and place it on top of the walnut layer.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.

9.Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

10.Once cooled, spread the melted dark chocolate over the top layer of the pastry.

11.Allow the chocolate to set before dusting the dessert with powdered sugar.

12.Cut into squares or diamond shapes and serve.
