Ingredients
While the English Breakfast is typically served with bacon, sausages, and baked beans, this Hungarian adaptation adds a touch of Hungarian flair. We substitute the bacon with kolbász, a Hungarian smoked sausage, and replace the baked beans with lecsó, a flavorful Hungarian pepper and tomato stew. These changes give the dish a unique Hungarian twist. We alse have the original recipe for English Breakfast, so you can check it out.

Serving advice
Serve the Hungarian-style English Breakfast hot, straight from the skillet. The combination of flavors and textures is best enjoyed when everything is fresh and piping hot.
Presentation advice
Arrange the slices of kolbász on top of the toast, then spoon the lecsó over them. Place the fried egg on top of the lecsó, allowing the yolk to run down the sides. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a pop of color.
