Ingredients
In this Indian Chinese adaptation of Żurek, we incorporate the flavors and spices commonly found in Indian Chinese cuisine. The original dish is traditionally made with fermented rye flour, but in this recipe, we substitute it with a combination of fermented rice flour and wheat flour. Additionally, we enhance the soup with Indian Chinese spices such as ginger, garlic, chili, and soy sauce, giving it a spicy and aromatic twist. 1.In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

5.Pour in the chicken broth and water, and bring the soup to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6.Add the diced carrot, sliced bell pepper, soy sauce, and chili sauce to the pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
