While the original Abšmalcane mahune is a stewed dish featuring green beans, this adaptation transforms it into a delicious bean burger. The flavors and spices are adjusted to suit the fast food cuisine, and the stewed beans are transformed into a flavorful patty. 1.In a large bowl, mash the kidney beans using a fork or potato masher until they are mostly smooth.

2.Add the breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the mashed beans. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

3.Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties.

4.Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

5.Toast the burger buns lightly, if desired.

6.Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion slices, and your choice of sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.
