Ingredients

In this Chifa-inspired Bento Box, we have adapted the traditional Japanese bento to incorporate elements of Chifa cuisine. While the original Japanese bento typically consists of rice, fish or meat, and pickled vegetables, our Chifa version introduces Peruvian flavors such as ceviche and stir-fried vegetables. The fusion of these two cuisines creates a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, offering a new and exciting twist on the traditional bento. We alse have the original recipe for Bento, so you can check it out.

  • Add a touch of Peruvian spice by sprinkling a pinch of aji amarillo powder over the rice.
  • Customize your bento box by adding additional Chifa-inspired sides such as fried rice or yuquitas (Peruvian yuca fritters).
