Ingredients
In this Fijian adaptation of Bhutuwa, we incorporate the unique flavors and spices of Fijian cuisine. While the original Nepalese Bhutuwa typically uses a variety of Nepalese spices, we have modified the spice blend to include Fijian spices such as turmeric, cumin, coriander, and chili powder. Additionally, we have incorporated Fijian cooking techniques, such as stir-frying the lamb with onions, garlic, and ginger, to enhance the flavors and create a distinct Fijian taste. We alse have the original recipe for Bhutuwa, so you can check it out.
