Ingredients
In this Pashtun adaptation, we incorporate Pashtun spices like cumin, coriander, and turmeric to infuse the fritters with the distinct flavors of Pashtun cuisine. Additionally, the fritters are shaped into small balls instead of the traditional Colombian buñuelo shape, giving them a unique Pashtun twist. Preparation

1.In a large bowl, combine the grated yuca, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.

3.Take small portions of the yuca mixture and shape them into small balls using your hands.

4.Carefully drop the yuca balls into the hot oil and fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy. Make sure to fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
