Preparation

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef cubes and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

    In the same pot, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.

    Add the carrots, bell peppers, and potatoes to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Return the beef to the pot and add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, paprika, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
