Ingredients

In this Tianjin-style adaptation of Cibulačka, we incorporate elements of Tianjin cuisine to enhance the flavors. The original Czech recipe is traditionally made with beef broth, while the Tianjin version uses a combination of chicken and vegetable broth for a lighter taste. Additionally, we introduce Tianjin spices such as star anise and Sichuan peppercorns to infuse the soup with a subtle hint of heat and complexity. We alse have the original recipe for Cibulačka, so you can check it out.
