Ingredients
In this Slovenian adaptation, we substitute the traditional goose with duck, as duck is more readily available in Slovenia. Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Pat the duck dry with paper towels and season it with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.

3.Place the duck on a roasting rack in a roasting pan, breast side up.

4.Roast the duck in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.

5.In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples and cook until they are slightly softened.

6.Drizzle the honey over the apples and stir to coat them evenly.
