Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Vermicelli — Make sure to cook the vermicelli until it is soft but not mushy. Overcooking can result in a clumpy texture.
  • Basil seeds — Soaking the basil seeds in water helps them swell up and become gelatinous. This adds a unique texture to the falooda.

Tips & Tricks

  • You can add a few drops of rose water for an extra burst of rose flavor.
  • Experiment with different flavors of ice cream such as pistachio or mango for a unique twist.
  • For a more indulgent version, drizzle some chocolate syrup over the ice cream.

Serving advice

Serve the Rose Falooda chilled in tall glasses with a long spoon. The layers of vermicelli, basil seeds, and rose syrup create an attractive presentation. Encourage your guests to mix the layers together before enjoying the refreshing flavors.
