The original Footi is usually made with chicken or lamb, but in this recipe, we substitute the meat with a variety of fresh seafood, such as prawns, mussels, and squid. 1.Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.

2.Add the diced red and green bell peppers to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

3.Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, and ground turmeric to the pan. Stir well to coat the vegetables with the spices.

4.Add the mixed seafood to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn opaque.

5.Pour in the canned diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

6.Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.

7.Season with salt and pepper to taste.
