Treat your ingredients with care...
- Ground beef — Choose lean ground beef for a healthier option. Make sure the meat is well-chilled before mixing to make it easier to handle.
- Fresh herbs — Use fresh parsley and mint for the best flavor. Finely chop the herbs to distribute their aroma evenly throughout the meatballs.
Tips & Tricks
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the meatball mixture.
- If you prefer a creamier yogurt sauce, you can add a tablespoon of tahini paste.
- Serve the meatballs with a side of pita bread for a complete meal.
- You can also bake the meatballs in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes for a healthier alternative to frying.
- Leftover meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave or oven.
