Ingredients
In the original Italian Fragole al vino recipe, the strawberries are soaked in red wine and served with a sprinkle of sugar. However, in this Schleswig-Holstein adaptation, we use local white wine instead of red wine to complement the delicate flavors of the strawberries. Additionally, we create a syrup from the wine to enhance the sweetness and add a touch of acidity to the dish. We alse have the original recipe for Fragole al vino, so you can check it out.
