1.Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

6.In a small bowl, mix together the ground turmeric, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, salt, and pepper.

8.Continue to cook for a few more minutes until the flavors meld together and the vegetables are cooked to your desired level of crispness.
