Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Potatoes — Make sure to slice the potatoes thinly and evenly to ensure even cooking throughout the casserole.
  • Breadcrumbs — For a more flavorful crust, you can use seasoned breadcrumbs or add herbs and spices to plain breadcrumbs.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the sour cream mixture.
  • To make the casserole even more indulgent, sprinkle some crispy cooked bacon or sautéed onions on top before adding the breadcrumb layer.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
