Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Beef — For tender beef, make sure to slice it against the grain. This will help to break down the muscle fibers and result in a more tender texture.
  • Ginger — Use fresh ginger for the best flavor. Peel the ginger with a spoon and grate it finely to release its aromatic oils.

Tips & Tricks

  • To add an extra kick of heat, sprinkle some red pepper flakes or drizzle chili oil over the finished dish.
  • For a vegetarian version, substitute the beef with tofu or seitan and adjust the cooking time accordingly.
  • Feel free to customize the vegetable selection based on your preferences. Broccoli, snap peas, or mushrooms would also work well in this stir-fry.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix an additional teaspoon of cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and add it to the stir-fry during the last minute of cooking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
