Ingredients

1.Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

2.In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, coconut milk, sugar, and cardamom powder.

3.Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid.

4.Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the mixture has thickened, stirring occasionally.

5.Remove the saucepan from heat and let the rice pudding cool to room temperature.

6.In a small pan, toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown. Set aside.
