Treat your ingredients with care...
- Tofu — For a firmer texture, press the tofu before slicing it. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top for 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Tibetan spice blend — If you can't find pre-made Tibetan spice blend, you can make your own by combining ground cumin, ground coriander, and ground turmeric in the specified quantities.
Tips & Tricks
- Soak the rice paper wrappers one at a time to prevent them from sticking together.
- Add a small amount of filling to each roll to ensure they are easy to roll and not overstuffed.
- Customize the filling by adding other vegetables or herbs of your choice.
- Serve the spring rolls immediately after assembling to maintain their freshness and crispness.
- If you prefer a spicier dipping sauce, add a pinch of chili flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
