Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Beef stew meat — For a tender and flavorful stew, choose a marbled cut of beef such as chuck or brisket.
  • Jalapeno peppers — Adjust the amount of jalapeno peppers according to your desired level of spiciness. Remove the seeds for a milder flavor.
  • Cilantro — If you're not a fan of cilantro, you can substitute it with fresh parsley for a similar herbaceous taste.

Tips & Tricks

  • To deepen the flavors, you can add a splash of lime juice or a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the stew.
  • For a thicker stew, you can mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with a little water and add it to the pot during the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Serve the Latin American Gulyás with a side of rice or warm tortillas to soak up the delicious sauce.
