Treat your ingredients with care...
- Chicken breasts — To ensure tender and juicy chicken, avoid overcooking. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Bell peppers — Stir-frying the bell peppers for a few minutes will soften them slightly while retaining their vibrant color and crunch.
- Honey — For easy pouring and measuring, lightly coat the measuring spoon or cup with oil before adding honey.
Tips & Tricks
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha sauce to the honey garlic sauce.
- Customize the stir-fry by adding your favorite vegetables such as broccoli, snap peas, or mushrooms.
- To save time, you can marinate the chicken in the honey garlic sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, increase the amount of cornstarch in the recipe.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
