Preparation

1.In a large bowl, soak the bulgur wheat in water for 30 minutes. Drain and squeeze out any excess water.

2.In a separate bowl, combine the ground lamb or beef, soaked bulgur wheat, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, cilantro, parsley, mint, grated coconut, diced pineapple, and diced mango. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

3.Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a patty. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

4.Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties in batches until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 4-5 minutes per side.

5.Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
