Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Passion fruits — Choose ripe passion fruits that have wrinkled skin and a fragrant aroma. The pulp should be bright orange and slightly soft to the touch.
  • Gelatin — Make sure to bloom the gelatin properly by sprinkling it over water and letting it sit before microwaving. This ensures a smooth texture in the mousse.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a more intense passion fruit flavor, add a few drops of passion fruit essence or extract.
  • If fresh passion fruits are not available, you can use canned passion fruit pulp as a substitute.
  • To make a lighter version, you can use light condensed milk and substitute half of the heavy cream with whipped egg whites.

Serving advice

Serve the Passion Fruit Mousse chilled for the best taste experience. It can be enjoyed on its own or topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
