1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, ground turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin, ground fennel, ground white pepper, and sugar.

3.Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the batter rest for 1 hour in a warm place until it doubles in size.
