Treat your ingredients with care...
- Pork loin — For best results, choose lean and tender pork loin slices. If you prefer a fattier cut, you can use pork belly slices instead.
- Spring roll wrappers — Make sure to keep the wrappers covered with a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out while assembling the rolls.
- Spicy peanut sauce — Adjust the amount of chili paste according to your desired level of spiciness. You can also add a squeeze of lime juice for a tangy twist.
Tips & Tricks
- To make the rolls extra crispy, you can brush them with a little oil before steaming.
- If you're vegetarian, you can substitute the pork with tofu or tempeh for a plant-based version.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or bean sprouts to the filling for added crunch and flavor.
- If you don't have a steamer, you can also pan-fry the rolls until golden brown on all sides.
- Leftover rolls can be refrigerated and enjoyed the next day. Just reheat them in a steamer or microwave before serving.
