The original Chinese dish is typically seasoned with soy sauce, ginger, and star anise, whereas our Sicilian-style Braised Pork Ribs feature Mediterranean spices like oregano, thyme, and rosemary. Additionally, we use tomatoes, garlic, and onions to add a touch of sweetness and depth to the dish, which is not present in the original recipe. Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).

2.Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium heat.

3.Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until fragrant and translucent.

4.Add the pork ribs to the pot and brown them on all sides.
