Preparation

1.Drain and rinse the soaked red beans.

2.In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they turn golden brown.

3.Add the soaked red beans to the pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour, or until the beans are tender.

4.In a separate pot, cook the Crimean Tatar rice according to the package instructions.

5.Once the beans are tender, add the cumin, coriander, paprika, bay leaf, and salt to the pot. Stir well and let the flavors meld together for another 10 minutes.

6.Serve the Crimean Tatar Red Beans over a bed of fluffy Crimean Tatar rice. Garnish with fresh parsley.
