Ingredients
In this Guinea-Bissauan adaptation of Sabich, we incorporate flavors and ingredients commonly found in West African cuisine. The traditional Israeli dish is enhanced with vibrant herbs and spices, such as coriander and chili peppers, which add a delightful kick to the sandwich. Additionally, we substitute the traditional tahini sauce with a tangy and spicy peanut sauce, which is a staple in Guinea-Bissauan cuisine. These modifications infuse the dish with the unique flavors of Guinea-Bissau, creating a truly special culinary experience. We alse have the original recipe for Sabich, so you can check it out.
