Ingredients
In this South African adaptation, we replace the traditional pumpkin seeds with roasted peanuts, which adds a distinct nutty flavor to the dip. Preparation

1.In a food processor, pulse the roasted peanuts until finely ground.

2.Add the diced tomatoes, red onion, minced garlic, jalapeno pepper, ground cumin, paprika, chili powder, lime juice, and salt to the food processor.

3.Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.

4.Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and stir in the chopped cilantro.

5.Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

6.Serve chilled with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
