1.In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, grated ginger, vegetable oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

2.Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

3.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

4.Remove the chicken from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use.

5.Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken pieces, skin side down. Cook until the skin is golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes.

6.Flip the chicken pieces and pour the reserved marinade over them. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
