1.Place the grated taro in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out any excess moisture.

2.In a large bowl, combine the grated taro, chopped onion, flour, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

3.Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

4.Take a handful of the taro mixture and shape it into a flat patty. Place the patty in the skillet and gently press it down to form a round shape. Repeat with the remaining mixture, leaving some space between each rösti.
