1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add warm water and knead until a smooth dough is formed. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

2.In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Then, add turmeric powder, chili powder, and mashed potatoes. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Remove from heat and let the filling cool.

3.Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle.

4.Place a spoonful of the potato filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape. Press the edges firmly to seal the dumplings.

5.Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer. Deep fry the dumplings until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
