1.Rinse the Aiyu seeds under cold water to remove any impurities.

2.In a large bowl, soak the Aiyu seeds in 500ml (2 cups) of water for 30 minutes, allowing them to release their natural gelatinous properties.

3.After soaking, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, separating the gelatinous liquid from the seeds.

4.In a saucepan, combine the gelatinous liquid and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.

5.Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
