Preparation

1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.

2.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

3.Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.

4.Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.

5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

7.Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until the plantains are tender.
