Treat your ingredients with care...
- Bánh mì sausages — To enhance the flavor, marinate the sausages in a mixture of soy sauce, fish sauce, and five-spice powder for 30 minutes before baking.
- Sweet potatoes — Boil the sweet potatoes until they are easily pierced with a fork, but be careful not to overcook them as they can become mushy.
Tips & Tricks
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of sriracha or chili flakes to the sausages while cooking.
- If you can't find bánh mì sausages, you can use any Vietnamese-style sausages or even regular pork sausages seasoned with Vietnamese spices.
- Serve with a side of pickled vegetables or a fresh Vietnamese salad for a complete meal.
