Ingredients
In the original Bersaglieri recipe, the chicken is marinated in Italian herbs and spices and cooked with vegetables like tomatoes and zucchini. In this Guangxi-inspired version, the chicken is marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, and stir-fried with Chinese vegetables like bell peppers, mushrooms, and snow peas. The sauce is also adapted to include flavors commonly found in Guangxi cuisine, such as oyster sauce and a hint of chili. We alse have the original recipe for Bersaglieri, so you can check it out.
