Ingredients

In this Sudanese adaptation of the Spanish Bocadillo de sardinas, we incorporate Sudanese spices such as cumin, coriander, and turmeric to infuse the sardines with a distinct Sudanese flavor profile. Additionally, we serve the sandwich on a crusty baguette, which is a popular bread choice in Sudanese cuisine. The accompaniments of tomato and onion salsa and a side salad add a refreshing touch to the dish, enhancing the overall experience. We alse have the original recipe for Bocadillo de sardinas, so you can check it out.
