Treat your ingredients with care...
- Potatoes — Make sure to boil the potatoes until they are fully cooked and easily mashable. This will ensure a smooth texture for the potato patties.
- Green chilies — Adjust the amount of green chilies according to your spice preference. You can also remove the seeds for a milder heat.
- Cilantro — Use fresh cilantro for the best flavor. Wash it thoroughly and chop it just before adding it to the potato mixture.
Tips & Tricks
- For extra crispiness, you can coat the potato patties with breadcrumbs before frying.
- Experiment with different types of buns, such as sesame seed buns or whole wheat buns, to add variety to the dish.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce or sprinkle some red chili flakes on top of the potato patty before assembling the bun.
