1.In a large bowl, combine the grated yuca, ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2.Take a small portion of the yuca mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a spoonful of the lamb filling in the center and fold the yuca dough over the filling, shaping it into a cylindrical or oval shape. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

3.Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the Carimañolas in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking.

4.Once cooked, remove the Carimañolas from the oil and drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
