- Shrimp — Ensure the shrimp is fully cooked before adding it to the ceviche. If using frozen shrimp, thaw it completely and pat dry with paper towels.
- White fish fillets — Use any firm white fish such as cod, tilapia, or halibut. Make sure the fish is cooked and diced into bite-sized pieces.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra kick of heat, add a few dashes of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the marinade.
- Serve the ceviche with tortilla chips or crispy French fries for a fast food twist.
- Customize the toppings by adding diced avocado, jalapenos, or shredded lettuce.
- If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of hot sauce or omit it altogether.
- Make sure to use fresh citrus juices for the best flavor.
