Treat your ingredients with care...
- Wheat flour — Ensure that the wheat flour is coarsely ground for the desired texture of the Churma.
- Jaggery — Grate the jaggery finely to ensure it blends well with the other ingredients.
- Ghee — If you prefer a vegan or dairy-free version, substitute ghee with plant-based oil such as coconut oil or vegetable oil.
- Dried fruits — Soak the raisins and dried apricots in warm water for a few minutes before adding them to the mixture. This will help them soften and enhance their flavor.
Tips & Tricks

- Experiment with different dried fruits such as cranberries or figs to add variety to the dish.
- Serve the Churma with a dollop of clotted cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent twist.
- If the Churma becomes too dry, drizzle a little honey or ghee over it before serving.
